Who We Are
Emily is a fully qualified ear wax removal practitioner, trained in accordance with BSA and NICE guidelines to ensure safe and effective practice. Her hands-on training was led by experienced NHS clinicians, providing her with a solid foundation in clinical care. Based in Cornwall, Emily has been dedicated to helping patients improve their ear health across the region.
With a strong focus on patient comfort and care, Emily provides a professional, friendly service for anyone experiencing symptoms such as blocked ears, hearing loss, or discomfort caused by excessive ear wax.

CONSULTATION
This will involve discussing any symptoms you may be experiencing. We will take a look in your ears using video otoscopy. This is a great way of allowing both clinician and patient to see what is going on in your ears.
MICROSUCTION
Our clinic employs the latest microsuction techniques for safe and effective ear wax removal, ensuring minimal discomfort and maximum results.
IRRIGATION
Experience gentle ear wax removal through warm water irrigation, a safe and effective method preferred by many of our patients.
Appointment Flexibility
At South West Ear Care, we offer our services either in our Helston clinic or through home visits. Contact us to discuss which option works best for you, and we’ll do our best to meet your needs.
Clinic Appointments
The clinic is conveniently situated in the heart of Helston Town, offering a welcoming setting with nearby parking available. Clinics run Tuesdays and Thursdays and are able to be booked online.
Mobile Visits
Emily loves to get out into the community and offer support to those who may find it difficult to get to appointments. Whether it due to medical reasons, lack of transport, or simply feeling more comfortable at home, she is here to help.
PRICE LIST
CONSULTATION
20.00 - This fee will be put towards any treatment which you may require.
MICROSUCTION/IRRIGATION
60.00 for clinic appointments.
HOME VISITS
For home visits please get in touch, costs may vary slightly depending on location.
If treatment is not required you will only pay for the consultation.
Currently, we are only able to provide treatment for individuals aged 18 and over.
Appointments
Before your appointment:
- Olive Oil drops to use 3 x a day, 3 days prior to treatment.
- If you are a hearing aid wearer, it is recommended to avoid wearing hearing aids for at least 2 hours after the softener has been administered.
- Complete and sign Medical History Form.
- Read through after-care instructions.
